About What's My Margin?
A free calculator that shows UK small sellers what each order really contributes once every cost — including advertising and VAT — is taken off.
Who it's for
- Independent online shops and marketplace sellers deciding on prices or discounts.
- Makers and small brands checking whether paid ads are worth it.
- Anyone pricing products for distributors and retailers using margins.
What it does
Contribution per order before and after ads, break-even ad cost (CPA) and ROAS, VAT-registered and non-registered modes, a target-price solver, a wholesale margin check and locally saved scenarios. The Learn guides explain the maths behind each.
What it doesn't do
- It isn't accounting, tax or VAT advice. Check important decisions with a qualified accountant.
- It doesn't connect to Shopify, Etsy, Amazon or any other platform, and has no live fee data.
- It doesn't model the VAT Flat Rate Scheme, margin schemes, zero-rated or mixed supplies.
- It has no accounts, so saved scenarios exist only in your browser on one device.
